Thomas D. McGraw is the Principal of INEX, a management consulting firm that works exclusively with independent insurance agents and brokers. His specialty is organizational development and effectiveness. Specific areas of focus include strategic planning, leader team development and coaching (succession planning), owner, executive and producer compensation, mergers and acquisitions on both the buy and sell side, and perpetuation planning. Prior to forming INEX, Mr. McGraw held management and leadership positions with Crum and Forster, an agency company whose operating strategy identified the independent agent as its customer. His involvement in designing, building and implementing their 'customer driven strategy' is the foundation for his consulting practice that is dedicated to the success of independent agents.
